Nvidia Posts Record Q2 Earnings, Returns $26 Billion to Shareholders
Nvidia's latest financial report shows the company is still riding high on its artificial intelligence (AI) trend. In the second quarter of its 2027 fiscal year, Nvidia recorded non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.22 on revenue of $96.22 billion.
This far surpasses analyst estimates, which had predicted adjusted per-share earnings of $2.10 on revenue of $92.17 billion.
Nvidia also announced that it returned a total of $26 billion to shareholders in the quarter, with $20 billion coming from buybacks and $6 billion from dividend payments.
The company's quarterly dividend has increased by 2,400% since May, but at $0.25 per share, it still doesn't make a significant difference for investors.
