Microsoft and Google Dominate List of Top-Rated Employers Across US States
America's top-rated employers have been revealed in a new survey of over 245,000 employees. Microsoft topped the list, ranking as the best employer in nine states, including Colorado, Georgia, and North Carolina. Google came close behind, leading the pack in seven states.
The survey, conducted by Forbes, covered organizations with at least 500 employees and considered factors such as pay, benefits, career growth, management, flexibility, and employee recommendations. The results showed that tech companies dominated the list, taking the top spot in 19 states. NASA, Toyota, healthcare providers, banks, and major consumer brands also made appearances.
Interestingly, Microsoft's dominance was not limited to its home state of Washington. It topped the list in several other key regions, including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City.
