Microsoft and NVIDIA have launched the Frontier Launchpad, a new program aimed at supporting software companies in the UK and Ireland as they develop artificial intelligence (AI) products. The initiative builds on the success of last year’s Agentic Launchpad and is designed for businesses with an established software product that are integrating AI into their offerings. Selected participants will receive technical expertise, commercial support, and access to Microsoft and NVIDIA’s networks to help scale their AI-driven solutions.
The program offers two focused pathways: one for AI platforms and software built around AI, and another for financial services and financial technology. Participants will work with Microsoft AI specialists, cloud architects, and NVIDIA technical experts to refine their products. They will also receive guidance on preparing their products for the Microsoft Marketplace and opportunities to co-sell with Microsoft to reach new customers.
Applications for the Frontier Launchpad opened on November 3, 2026, and will close on November 27, 2026. Successful companies will join the first cohort in early 2027. The selection process will prioritize businesses with strong growth potential, clear AI integration plans, and a commitment to developing new software. Tobias Halloran, director of start-ups at NVIDIA, highlighted the program’s goal of providing technical expertise and training to accelerate AI applications. Darren Hardman, CEO of Microsoft UK & Ireland, emphasized the program’s role in fostering innovation and growth in the region’s software sector.
