Microsoft-Backed Solar Park Comes Online in Australia
Australia has welcomed another major solar energy project, this time backed by technology giant Microsoft. The Recurrent Energy-owned 150-MW solar park in New South Wales is now operational, marking a significant milestone for renewable energy development in the region.
The project's completion comes as part of Australia's efforts to transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources. With a total investment of $A200 million (approximately $140 million USD), the solar park is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 40,000 homes annually.
