Microsoft Bolsters Bug Bounty Program with New Awards and Categories
Microsoft has updated its bug bounty program for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, introducing new awards and categories to incentivize researchers to identify vulnerabilities in the software.
The bug bounty program offers rewards ranging from $1,250 to $60,000 for identifying critical or important severity vulnerabilities. The company has also introduced a category of 'High-Impact Scenario Awards' that provide award multipliers of up to 100 percent for identifying specific types of vulnerabilities, such as cross-tenant vulnerabilities and escalation of privileges in Dataverse.
The program also includes a dedicated category of AI bounty awards, with rewards ranging from $12,000 to $30,000 for identifying inference manipulation and inferential information disclosure vulnerabilities.
