Microsoft has finally listened to user complaints and introduced an optional setting in Outlook on the web and new Outlook for Windows to mimic classic Outlook's look and feel.

The new setting, which will be available globally from August to October 2026, allows users to toggle between the classic and modern designs at any time.

This update is designed to help users transitioning from classic Outlook by providing a more familiar experience while maintaining the capabilities of the new Outlook.
