Microsoft Brings Computer-Powered Automation to Copilot Studio Agents
Microsoft has announced that computer use is now in public preview for its Copilot Studio agents. This feature allows agents to work with websites and desktop applications, enabling users to automate complex tasks without needing to code.
With computer use, users can describe the task they want done in natural language, and the agent will use its own computer to complete it. The built-in reasoning capability of Copilot Studio lets the agent understand and adapt in real-time to changes in apps and websites.
The public preview release includes several enhancements, including a hosted browser powered by Windows 365, getting started templates, credentials storage, and an allow-list feature to restrict access to specific websites and applications.
