Microsoft Bumps Dividend as Cloud and AI Business Keeps Growing
Microsoft has increased its quarterly dividend by 7 cents to $0.98 per share, giving shareholders another boost as its AI and cloud business continues to expand.
The higher dividend will be paid on December 10 to shareholders of record on November 19. At the new quarterly rate, Microsoft will distribute $3.92 per share annually, up from $3.64 previously.
This increase is not transformational for income investors but reinforces Microsoft's ability to return capital while funding one of the largest AI infrastructure buildouts in the technology industry.
