Microsoft Director Receives 428 New Restricted Stock Units
Mark Mason, a director at Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), has been granted 0.787 restricted stock units (RSUs) as part of his compensation package. These RSUs are fully vested and will be delivered to him on the first anniversary after his separation from the Board of Directors.
This is in addition to the 427.705 RSUs he already holds, making a total of 428.494 RSUs. Mason also directly owns 1,675 shares of Microsoft common stock.
The RSUs represent a contingent right to receive one share of Microsoft common stock each, with dividend equivalent rights accruing when and as dividends are paid on the Company's common stock. These rights become exercisable proportionately with the related RSUs.
