Microsoft Dominates Aehr Test Systems with Steady Revenue Growth
Microsoft's revenue has been steadily increasing over the past eight quarters, with no significant dips in sight. In contrast, Aehr Test Systems' revenue has fluctuated wildly during this period, with sharp increases and decreases.
The semiconductor testing company experienced a surge in bookings of $60.7 million in its most recent quarter, which is a promising sign for the future. However, its revenue remains significantly lower than Microsoft's, at $18.8 million compared to $90 billion.
Microsoft has managed to maintain its position as a leader in the AI sector, with a 40% net income margin and a partnership with Databricks that integrates business contexts into enterprise models. Aehr Test Systems' role in testing for the semiconductor industry does not lend itself to consistent revenue growth like Microsoft's.
Despite the volatility of its revenue, Aehr Test Systems stock has surged over 400% in 2026, reaching a price of over $100. Meanwhile, Microsoft shares have fluctuated, hitting a 52-week low of $349.20 in June before rebounding after the company posted earnings results.
