Microsoft Edge Polls Users on Why They Prefer Google Chrome
Microsoft has taken its campaign to dissuade users from switching to Google Chrome to the next level by introducing a poll in Edge. The poll appears when users attempt to download Chrome and asks them why they're choosing not to use Microsoft's browser.
The questions range from issues with searching Google easily, accessing Google documents, to concerns about too many ads and pop-ups. Interestingly, the poll doesn't appear when users try to download other browsers like Firefox or Brave.
This move by Microsoft has sparked debate among tech enthusiasts, with some seeing it as an attempt to pressure users into sticking with Edge, while others view it as a genuine effort to understand user preferences.
