Microsoft Exec Ryan Roslansky to Leave Company in 2026 Amid AI Push
Microsoft executive Ryan Roslansky will leave the company at the end of 2026, CEO Satya Nadella announced in a memo to employees.
Roslansky led LinkedIn, Microsoft's subsidiary, for six years and expanded its membership from 700 million to 1.3 billion during his tenure.
He joined LinkedIn as product chief in 2009, when it was still private, and previously held management roles at Yahoo and Glam Media.
Nadella praised Roslansky's contributions to the unified Copilot app, which combines Office and AI capabilities, and noted that his team had done 'critical work' bringing together product, engineering, and design foundations.
Roslansky will be replaced by Dan Shapero, LinkedIn's chief operating officer, who has taken over as CEO of the professional social network.
