Microsoft Executive Vice President Ryan Roslansky to Depart by Year-End
Ryan Roslansky, the Executive Vice President at Microsoft and former CEO of LinkedIn, will step down from his role at the end of 2023. He announced his departure in a LinkedIn post, stating that after nearly 18 years at LinkedIn and Microsoft, he will be leaving at year-end.
Microsoft confirmed that Roslansky will serve as an advisor to CEO Satya Nadella until the end of 2026 to facilitate a smooth transition. Roslansky assumed his current position at Microsoft in April 2025, overseeing LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
Following his departure, Dan Shapero will continue as LinkedIn's CEO, reporting directly to Nadella. Other leadership changes include Mohak Shroff, Sumit Chauhan, Lan Ye, Jon Friedman, Charles Lamanna, and Jacob Andreou adjusting their reporting structures, effective October 1.
Roslansky's career includes stints as LinkedIn's Chief Product Officer and CEO, roles at Glam Media, Housing Media, and Yahoo. He has also served on the boards of The Paley Center for Media, Intuit, and GoDaddy.
