Microsoft Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Copilot Product Issues

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) by The Gross Law Firm on behalf of shareholders who purchased shares during a specific period. The complaint alleges that Microsoft's Copilot family of products had significant issues, including brand positioning, user experience, and data siloing problems.

Additionally, the company's flagship proprietary AI model ranked poorly compared to competitors in benchmark tests. To improve its competitive positioning, Microsoft reportedly increased capital expenditures by billions of dollars and diverted GPU and CPU capacity away from Azure services. As a result, the company's Copilot offerings lost market share to rival products.

Shareholders who purchased MSFT shares between May 1, 2025, and January 28, 2026, are encouraged to contact The Gross Law Firm for possible lead plaintiff appointment. There is no cost or obligation to participate in the case, and registration is required by August 11, 2026.
