A class action lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) over alleged violations of federal securities laws.

The suit, led by law firm Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman LLC, accuses Microsoft and certain officers of making false or misleading statements about the company's Copilot family of products between May 1, 2025, and January 28, 2026.

According to the complaint, Microsoft failed to disclose significant problems with its Copilot products, including brand positioning, user experience, data siloing, computational capacity, organizational, and interoperability issues.

The firm also claims that Microsoft's flagship AI model ranked below competitors on benchmark tests and that the company had to divert resources away from profitable Azure services to improve the competitive positioning of its Copilot products.
