Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets Aircraft & Avionics Update 06
A new update is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing enhancements and improvements to five aircraft from German manufacturers. The Aircraft & Avionics Update 06 (AAU_06) is a free upgrade for existing owners of these aircraft, while non-owners can purchase them from the in-sim Marketplace for $14.99 each.
The updated aircraft include the Junkers F 13, Junkers Ju 52, Dornier Do X, Dornier Do J Wal, and Dornier Do 31. The update brings various improvements to flight performance, control response, ground handling, water handling, and visual detailing. The aircraft have been converted to the native MSFS 2024 aircraft framework, with updated engine, fuel, electrical, and cockpit systems.
The update also includes career mode compatibility and art & visual updates, such as improved exterior and interior materials, textures, and visual consistency. Each of the five aircraft has received specific refinements, including radial-engine performance for the Junkers F 13 and VTOL systems integration for the Dornier Do 31.
