Microsoft Integrates Business Data into Work IQ Intelligence Layer
Microsoft has announced that its Work IQ intelligence layer will now integrate core business data from Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, enabling Copilot agents to understand a company's specific business context. This integration is expected to roll out in public preview through October.
The move aims to address one of the biggest challenges facing enterprise AI pilots: agents that don't comprehend the business they're supposed to serve. By modeling the business once and using it everywhere, Work IQ eliminates the need for manual context setting for each agent.
This semantic model allows multiple agents to draw from the same understanding of accounts, contracts, and equipment, resulting in more consistent answers and reduced duplication of work.
