Microsoft is investigating an issue affecting users of Microsoft 365 Copilot, a cloud-based AI assistant integrated into several Microsoft applications. The company has identified the problem as incident CP1470554 and is tracking its resolution through the Service Health Dashboard in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

The issue may cause users to be unable to access or interact with Copilot, resulting in errors such as sign-in failures, empty replies, stalled prompts, or missing controls within everyday apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Tenant administrators are advised to check the Service Health Dashboard for updates on the incident.

Microsoft has not yet published a root cause, list of affected regions, or recovery time, but IT and security teams are cautioned against treating failed sessions as local misconfiguration issues. Instead, they should monitor the advisory until Microsoft confirms the service is stable.
