Microsoft Leaks Xbox Elite Series 3 Controller Details Early

Microsoft has accidentally leaked details about the upcoming Xbox Elite Series 3 Wireless Controller through its Xbox Design Lab website. The leak, spotted on Reddit’s r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, reveals key features of the new controller, including Hall-effect or TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) sticks with adjustable tension settings, loose, standard, and tight. The controller also boasts advanced haptics for more nuanced force feedback, similar to the DualSense and Steam Controller, and low-friction or silent sticks akin to those on the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller.

The Xbox Elite Series 3 will include a dedicated audio scroll wheel for adjusting voice chat and game audio balance, four back paddles, and a customizable D-Pad with standard and cross directional pad options. Microsoft plans to offer two versions of the controller: a full bundle with a case, charging dock, and top and bottom back paddles, and a base version with only bottom paddles and a charging cable.

Pricing for the Xbox Elite Series 3 has not been disclosed, though the previous model launched at $179.99. An official reveal from Microsoft is expected soon, following this unintended leak.
