Microsoft Manager's Ex-Wife and Husband on Trial for Allegedly Arranging His Murder

A Microsoft design manager was killed in an ambush on a dark Florida road in 2022.

The trial of Jared Bridegan's ex-wife and her husband, who are accused of arranging his murder, began with opening statements from lawyers.

The prosecutor told jurors that the fatal shooting was a 'targeted ambush' following years of post-marriage strife over religion and how to raise their twin children.

Bridegan, 33, was killed when he got out of his vehicle to remove a tire that had been placed in the road while his 2-year-old daughter from a second marriage was strapped in her car seat.
