The Motley Fool Stock Advisor team has released its latest list of top 10 stocks to buy, and Microsoft did not make the cut. The team believes that while many investors think they missed the AI boom, the global rollout phase, referred to as "Act 2", could be even more significant than the initial R&D phase.

The Stock Advisor service has a strong track record, with an average return of 875%, significantly outperforming the S&P 500's 208% return. Past recommendations, such as Netflix in 2004 and Nvidia in 2005, have yielded substantial returns for investors. For example, a $1,000 investment in Netflix at the time of recommendation would now be worth $336,195, while the same investment in Nvidia would be worth $1,241,567.

The article also notes that Parkev Tatevosian, a CFA, holds positions in Microsoft and is an affiliate of The Motley Fool. While he may earn compensation for promoting the service, he emphasizes that his opinions remain independent.
