Microsoft Names Ohad Jassin to Lead Israeli R&D Center
Microsoft's Israeli R&D center is getting new leadership as Ohad Jassin takes over from Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk on November 1. Jassin, who has been a corporate vice president at Microsoft since 2014, will continue to lead the company's International Sovereign Clouds business within Azure Edge.
Jassin has been involved in the expansion of the Israeli R&D organization during his time at Microsoft and established and grew product groups and businesses spanning cloud, AI, software, and hardware that became part of Microsoft's global operations.
Nati Amsterdam, a longtime Nvidia executive, will become general manager for sales and marketing operations in Israel in October. The appointment follows another significant change at Microsoft Israel.
