Microsoft Office Specialist World Champions Crowned at Pearson's Certiport Competition
The Certiport 2026 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship crowned its winners in Anaheim, California. The global competition recognizes students from around the world who excel in using Microsoft Office.
Two hundred thirty-five students qualified for the championship by passing certification exams and winning their respective country competitions. This year's event welcomed 135 finalists aged 13-22 from 36 countries.
The winners of each category are: Microsoft Word (Microsoft 365 Apps) first-place winner Sio Keng Nim from Macao, China; Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 Apps) first-place winner Nguyen Mai Chi from Vietnam; and Microsoft PowerPoint (Microsoft 365 Apps) first-place winner Santiago Matteus Dardón Pinzón from Guatemala.
According to Arthur Valentine, President of Assessment and Qualifications at Pearson, 'These students have not only earned a valuable credential, they have demonstrated the commitment, capability, and confidence needed to succeed in a fast-changing digital world.'
