Microsoft Outlook and OpenAI Hit by Widespread Outage
A widespread disruption to Microsoft's Outlook email service has left thousands of users unable to access key features on Monday. According to reports compiled by Downdetector, more than 6,000 users have reported an outage for Outlook.
Those affected said they were unable to open, search or send emails through the service. As of 1 p.m. EST, Microsoft had not provided updates on the scope of the outage or when service would be restored.
The outage has also affected OpenAI's ChatGPT Work, with users across multiple subscription plans experiencing several issues. The outage started at around 11 a.m. EST and is currently being worked on by OpenAI, which confirmed through its status page that they are addressing the issue.
