Microsoft Outlook and OpenAI Services Suffer Widespread Outage
A widespread disruption to Microsoft's Outlook email service has left thousands of users unable to access key features. The outage, which started around 11 a.m. EST, has affected more than 6,000 users, according to reports compiled by Downdetector.
Those affected reported being unable to open, search, or send emails through the service. As of 1 p.m. EST, Microsoft had not provided updates on the scope of the outage or when service would be restored.
OpenAI, which offers ChatGPT, is also experiencing a partial outage and users across multiple subscription plans may be experiencing several issues. According to OpenAI's status page, they are working on resolving the issue.
