Microsoft Patches Cloud Vulnerabilities Amid Growing Cyber Threats

Microsoft has patched nine vulnerabilities in several of its cloud services, including Azure Cosmos DB and Power Automate. The patches were deployed server-side and do not require any action from customers.

The White House and Texas Governor have launched Project Watershed 250, a joint effort to provide free cyber defense resources to water utilities in Texas, which are vulnerable to attacks from hostile foreign adversaries such as China and Iran.

A Minnesota county has paid $128K to ransomware attackers after two separate incidents, one of which occurred in January and the other in April. The county's second attack was claimed by the InterLock gang, but it is unclear who was responsible for the first incident.
