Microsoft Powers Up PowerToys with New Window Hopper Feature

Microsoft has released PowerToys v0.101.2362.0, which includes several notable updates and new features. One of the most significant additions is Window Hopper, a utility that allows users to switch between multiple windows of the same app without leaving that app.

According to Niels Laute, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, Window Hopper works similarly to Alt + Tab but stays within the current app's windows. This can be particularly useful for tasks such as juggling multiple browser windows or editor instances.

In addition to Window Hopper, the latest PowerToys release includes various design changes and improvements to several modules, including Command Palette, PowerDisplay, and Mouse Highlighter. The development team has also made some notable changes to other features, such as FancyZones, Keyboard Manager, and Peek.
