Microsoft Releases New Windows Builds with Improved Autoplay and Accessibility Features
Microsoft has released three new Windows builds to participants in the Windows Insider Program. The updates are available for those enrolled in the Beta, Experimental, and Experimental (26H1) channels.
The company notes that one of the issues fixed with these updates is a problem causing the Feature Flags list to show empty for Insiders in the Experimental channel.
Additionally, new features have been added. The Autoplay experience has been modernized, allowing it to be more visually consistent with Windows 11. This includes support for Light and Dark mode, as well as handling of text scaling and display settings. Notifications now work properly with the Notifications center.
The updates also include an accessibility setting that ensures apps open in a maximized state.
