Microsoft Revamps Copilot App with AI-Powered Tools for Developers
Microsoft has unveiled a revamped Copilot app that aims to bring together various AI tools to help users build, customize, and scale their artificial intelligence capabilities. The new app is divided into three components: Home, Code, and Autopilot.
The Home component serves as the central hub for users, where they can review recent activity, get suggestions on what Copilot can help with, and pick up work where they left off. It also includes Chat, a conversational interface that allows quick questions and draft-creation, and Cowork, which enables users to delegate tasks and receive completed results.
The Code component is geared towards developers, providing a way to quickly create apps and other projects with the help of Copilot AI. Meanwhile, Autopilot is a persistent agent that works even when the user is not actively engaged, handling tasks such as setting up supplier reviews and managing recurring work.
