Microsoft Seeks Permit for Final Data Center Building in Cheyenne
Microsoft has applied for a permit to build its final data center building at the Bison Data Center campus in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The company began construction on the site in 2017 and has already built four buildings.
Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins said that Microsoft only uses water for cooling about 10% of the year, but is working with the Board of Public Utilities to find ways to conserve more water or make it available to the community.
