Microsoft Shareholders Targeted in Securities Fraud Class Action Lawsuit
Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) shareholders who suffered losses may be able to participate in a class action lawsuit. The Law Offices of Frank R. Cruz announced that investors with losses related to MSFT have an opportunity to lead the securities fraud class action lawsuit.
The complaint alleges that between May 1, 2025 and January 28, 2026, Microsoft made materially false and/or misleading statements about its business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, it failed to disclose problems with its Copilot family of products, including issues with brand positioning, user experience, and data siloing.
The lawsuit also claims that Microsoft's flagship AI model ranked poorly compared to competitors on benchmark tests and that the company had to increase capital expenditures by billions of dollars to improve the competitive positioning of its critical Copilot family of products. As a result, Microsoft failed to convert a significant percentage of its commercial Microsoft 365 users to paid Copilot subscriptions.
Shareholders who suffered losses may be able to participate in the lawsuit by contacting The Law Offices of Frank R. Cruz before August 11, 2026.
