Microsoft Stock Eyes $570 as Analysts Predict Azure Growth to Remain Above 40%
Microsoft's stock price has been fluctuating wildly after its earnings report in July. Despite a 9% jump following the release, the stock closed at $481.15 on August 21, down slightly by 0.47%. Analysts expect Azure growth to remain above 40%, which is crucial for reaching the $570 price target set by 56 analysts.
According to data from Stock Analysis, the consensus price target of $569.56 implies an upside of about 17% from the current stock price. JPMorgan has raised Microsoft's price target to $625, forecasting Azure growth of around 45% for the next quarter, which aligns with management guidance.
Citi also raised its price target from $570 to $600, citing constant-currency Azure growth of 43%, which beat expectations by 4 percentage points. The key metric for verifying the authenticity of Azure demand lies in Copilot's paid conversion rate, which has surpassed 30 million seats.
