Microsoft Stock Soars 28%, But Can It Reach $600?
Microsoft's stock has surged 28% in a month to $490.39, outperforming the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSEARCA:XLK) which gained just 3% over the same period.
The company's commercial backlog grew 84% to $678 billion, indicating locked-in future growth and a significant market presence.
Azure crossed $100 billion in revenue for the first time, growing 43% in the quarter, while Microsoft 365 Copilot passed 30 million paid seats.
The path to reaching $600 would require Azure to sustain its guided 45% constant-currency growth in Q1 FY2027 and free cash flow to turn a corner as capital expenditures normalize.
