Microsoft Tackles Low-RAM Performance Issues in Windows 11

Microsoft is working to optimize Windows 11 for devices with low amounts of RAM. Corporate Vice President of Design and Research on Windows, Marcus Ash, discussed the company's efforts to reduce the memory footprint of the operating system.

The goal is to make Windows 11 run smoothly on devices with as little as 8GB of RAM. Ash mentioned that this is especially important given the current memory pricing crisis and competition from other platforms like the MacBook Neo.
