Microsoft Taps Experienced Leader to Drive Digital Transformation in East Africa
Microsoft has expanded its focus on digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in East Africa by appointing Angela Nganga as Country Lead. She will oversee Microsoft's engagement with governments and enterprise customers across the region, supporting partnerships to expand the local digital economy.
Nganga brings over a decade of experience at Microsoft, including leadership roles in customer success, corporate affairs, and education. Before joining the company, she worked in senior positions at Telkom Kenya and AAR Health Services Uganda.
In her new position, Nganga will strengthen Microsoft's support for startups and emerging technology businesses, focusing on AI skills development and workforce readiness.
