Microsoft Teams Mobile Users Face Calendar Loss in Weeks Without App Update

Microsoft Teams users on mobile devices are facing a looming deadline to update their app. By October 1, those who fail to do so will lose access to the Calendar feature in the iOS and Android apps.

This change affects only the mobile version of Teams, not the browser or desktop versions. Microsoft cited compatibility with ongoing service updates as the reason for this move.

According to TechRadar, the upcoming end-of-life for Microsoft's Exchange Web Services system might be a contributing factor. Updating the mobile app is expected to resolve this issue and allow users to continue using the Calendar feature.
