Microsoft Tests New Xbox Mythic Achievements System

Microsoft has started testing its new Xbox Mythic Achievements system for participants in the Xbox Insiders program. The new award will be granted to players who have earned all base achievements in a game, similar to PlayStation's platinum trophies.

The Xbox team announced that Mythic Achievements have already been added to supported games that users completed earlier, including Xbox 360 games. Players may see their Mythic status in some of their games during their next visit to their profile.

To receive the new award, players must earn all base achievements available in the game. In the achievement list, users will be able to separately view those they still need to earn Mythic status.
