Microsoft Tops Forbes List for Third Year as Nvidia Jumps into Top Five
Microsoft has taken top spot on Forbes' World's Best Employers list for the third consecutive year, according to a survey of over 300,000 employees across more than 50 countries. Nvidia jumped from sixth place in 2025 to fifth this year, while Adobe slipped two spots but remained in the top ten. The ranking, now in its seventh edition, recognizes companies with excellent employee satisfaction and retention rates.
The survey used a weighted scoring system that takes into account current responses as well as data collected over the previous three years. Respondents were asked to rate their employers on factors such as salary, benefits, career advancement, work-life balance, and overall reputation. Nvidia's move up the list is likely due to its explosive data center revenue growth through 2026.
Other top performers include Delta Air Lines, which held onto second place for a third year in a row, Shopify, which made the largest jump in the top ten, rising from fourteenth to third, and Costco, which moved up two spots to fourth. The list highlights the growing importance of employee satisfaction and retention in the tech industry.
