Microsoft Unveils Snapdragon-Powered Surface Devices with Enhanced AI Capabilities

Microsoft has launched new Surface devices powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Plus processor. The company introduced two new devices, a 12-inch Surface Pro and a 13-inch Surface Laptop, which feature improved performance, battery life, and AI capabilities.

The Surface Pro boasts up to 17% faster Office productivity performance, 18% better battery efficiency, more than 60% faster graphics performance, and up to 95% faster local AI inferencing on the NPU. The device also features a new AI-powered Ink Canvas experience designed for pen and touch users.

The Surface Laptop focuses on mobility and all-day productivity, with a full-size backlit keyboard, precision touchpad, an aluminum chassis, and a 3:2 PixelSense touchscreen display. Microsoft promises up to 22.5 hours of battery life in this device.
