Microsoft Unveils Windows and Surface Developments at October 7 Event
Microsoft is preparing to unveil its latest Windows and Surface developments at an event on October 7. The company has been teasing the event, which will focus on the intersection of Windows, Surface, and NVIDIA's RTX Spark technology.
The Surface Laptop Ultra, announced in May, will be a key part of the event. This device is Microsoft's most powerful Surface Laptop to date, featuring up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of AI compute power.
Microsoft has been working closely with NVIDIA on RTX Spark, which enables Windows to become more efficient and secure for local AI agents. The technology includes Microsoft Execution Containers, which allow developers to run their agents safely and securely on their RTX Spark Windows PC.
