Microsoft Updates Office for Mac with Copilot Enhancements
Microsoft has released an update to its Office for Mac software, bringing new features and improvements to Excel and Outlook.
The update, version 16.112, includes several enhancements to Excel's Copilot tool, which allows users to analyze Power BI business metrics data while respecting existing row-level security. This eliminates the need to export data or switch between applications.
Copilot in Excel can now also format workbooks with an organization's brand kit and is available in more cloud-saved workbooks, including files where AutoSave is turned off.
In Outlook, links and At Mention colors will match the app's accent color, and a new setting allows users to open new events in a separate window instead of a popover. Additionally, the default event creation time zone will automatically update when the device's time zone changes.
