Microsoft Vet Lists Mansion Amid Seattle Housing Market Slump
A former Microsoft executive has listed his mansion in Seattle's Washington Park neighborhood for $11.8 million, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The property, located at 530 36th Avenue East, spans over 7,910 square feet and features antique architectural pieces from around the world, including an arch that was won in a bidding war against Cher.
Rossi joined Microsoft in 1987 but left two years after purchasing the mansion. He later co-founded investment firm Ignition Partners, which invested $10 million in DocuSign's Series A round in 2004 and exited with a $6 billion valuation in 2018.
The Robertses plan to stay in Seattle despite listing their home, while another Microsoft executive, Takeshi Numoto, recently purchased a lakefront property in Hunts Point for $19.6 million, below its appraised value of $23.6 million and original list price of $21.5 million.
