Microsoft Work Culture Shines Bright Compared to Tata Consultancy Services

A software engineer who previously worked at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has shared his experience of moving to Microsoft, highlighting four major differences in work culture.

Gurung, who started his career at TCS after graduation, described his initial understanding of corporate life as 'log in, follow the process, log out.'

However, he said his experience changed significantly after joining Microsoft, where he found a more flat hierarchy and greater flexibility in dress codes.

Gurung also noted that Microsoft's office environment was designed with employees' comfort in mind, featuring hackathons, gaming zones, and spaces for relaxation.
