Microsoft's New Surface Mouse Brings Haptic Feedback to Windows 11

Microsoft is set to release a new Surface Mouse on October 13, alongside its updated Qualcomm-powered 12-inch Surface Pro and 13-inch Surface Laptop. The redesigned mouse supports haptic feedback effects in Windows 11, which adds a physical response to digital interactions.

The device's haptic feedback system is subtle but noticeable within seconds, providing a more immersive experience while using the computer.

The new Surface Mouse has an ambidextrous shape and is made with 30% recycled content. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are included in the packaging, and supports Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity for pairing up to three devices simultaneously.

Brett Ostrum, Corporate Vice President of Surface Devices at Microsoft, explained that the advanced haptic feedback functionality is designed to work seamlessly with system-level features like Snap Assist, resizing windows, and dragging files.
