Mission Bio Showcases Tapestri Platform Across Drug Development Pipelines
At the World CDx Summit, Mission Bio showcased its Tapestri Platform's capabilities in drug discovery and clinical development. The company's Assay Services team partnered with Merck & Co. to develop a targeted DNA and RNA single-cell assay on the Tapestri Platform. This study used CRISPR-edited genetic variants to evaluate immune cell function in autoimmune and inflammatory disease.
Mission Bio also collaborated with Incyte, which presented new single-cell clinical data on its monoclonal antibody targeting mutant calreticulin-positive cells in myeloproliferative neoplasms. The Tapestri assay designed by Mission Bio's Assay Services measured 46 proteins and 37 genes in the same cell, demonstrating depletion of mutant CALR-positive cells and repopulation by wild-type cells with relevant clinical improvements.
Mission Bio itself presented clinical data on single-cell measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis in acute myeloid leukemia. This study showed that single-cell multiomics achieved 93% sensitivity compared to 43% for flow cytometry and 71% for other molecular methods, providing more accurate stratification of relapse-free survival in AML patient samples.
