Mister Air Transport set to launch independent operations with Boeing 757-200PCF freighter
AerSale Corporation, a leading aviation aftermarket specialist, has finalized a lease agreement to deliver a Boeing 757-200PCF freighter to Romanian cargo carrier Mister Air Transport S.R.L. This deal will enable the airline to commence independent flight operations starting in October 2026.
The Boeing 757-200PCF, a converted passenger-to-freight aircraft, will be the first in Mister Air Transport's planned fleet of medium-haul freighters. The aircraft will operate under the carrier’s own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and flight crews, marking a significant shift from its previous reliance on chartered capacity.
Based out of Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport (LCJ) in Poland, the freighter will serve key trade routes in the region. Mister Air Transport will fly cargo missions on behalf of AerCommerce, a major shareholder with an established logistics customer base. The transition to direct operations is expected to improve scheduling flexibility and reduce costs compared to third-party charter solutions.
Company leadership emphasized the strategic value of this move, stating that the 757-200PCF freighter will allow Mister Air to control its supply chain and optimize cargo throughput. Future plans include expanding the fleet at the Łódź hub to meet growing e-commerce demand and enhance regional connectivity.
