Mitsotakis Meets Tech Leaders in Silicon Valley
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with tech leaders at Nvidia and Tesla in Silicon Valley on Monday, September 21, 2026. At Nvidia's headquarters, he discussed major investments in digital and computing infrastructure underway in Greece with senior company executives.
He was also given a tour of Nvidia's research centre, where some of the world's most advanced semiconductors and computing systems are designed. The prime minister met John Josephakis, Global Vice President of Sales and Business Development for HPC/Supercomputing, and other senior company executives to discuss how Nvidia uses its technology and ecosystem to support startups, governments, and leading technology companies in developing and adopting artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
Mitsotakis also visited the headquarters of Tesla in San Francisco, where he toured the facilities led by Konstantinos Laskaris, Vice President and Director of the Optimus programme. The company is involved in electric vehicles, autonomous systems, energy, and humanoid robotics through its Optimus programme.
