Monster Beverage CEO Americas Rob Gehring Exits for Coca-Cola Role

Monster Beverage Corporation, the maker of energy drinks, announced that Rob Gehring will leave his position as Chief Executive Officer, Americas on November 30, 2026. Gehring is departing to return to The Coca-Cola Company, where he will assume the role of president of its North America operating unit.

The company's leadership transition comes at a time when Monster Beverage continues to navigate the competitive energy drink and beverage landscape. Emelie C. Tirre, Chief Strategy Officer of Monster Energy Company, will take over responsibility for the Americas and Caribbean on an interim basis starting December 1, 2026.

Gehring's departure is effective November 30, but he will remain in his current role at Monster Energy Company until then. The company expressed appreciation for Gehring's contributions during his tenure and looks forward to partnering with him in his new role at The Coca-Cola Company.
