Monster Energy has expanded into Cambodia through an exclusive agreement with Coca-Cola Khmer. The partnership allows Monster to enter the Cambodian market, which is already competitive in beverages.

The two varieties of Monster Energy available in Cambodia are Original and Ultra Zero Sugar. Both come in 355ml cans priced at US$1.35 (KHR5,500) each.

Coca-Cola Khmer has been operating in Cambodia since 1993 and offers a range of brands including Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, and Dasani. The company's CEO, Paulo Gaspar Rodrigues, stated that Cambodian consumers are already familiar with Monster Energy and the launch will help retailers meet demand for the brand.

The agreement also gives Coca-Cola Khmer a new offering at the premium end of the energy drink category. The zero-sugar option widens the initial range, although the company has not disclosed sales targets or said whether more Monster products will follow.
