Moonspell Abandons Cradle of Filth Tour Due to Visa Issues, Blackbraid Steps In
Moonspell has dropped off Cradle of Filth's upcoming North American tour due to visa issues, the band announced. The 'Majestic in Death II' tour is set to begin on September 29 in San Diego.
The Portuguese gothic metal band stated that their visas couldn't be processed in time for the run, leaving fans disappointed. Moonspell expressed their regret and shared their disappointment with supporters who were looking forward to seeing them live.
However, Blackbraid has been added to the tour as a replacement for Moonspell. The Australian heavy metal band will join Cradle of Filth alongside previously announced support acts Worm and Black Satellite.
The tour includes select songs from Cradle of Filth's 'Dusk... And Her Embrace' in celebration of the album's 30th anniversary. Several New York-area stops are scheduled for October, including Norwalk, Connecticut on October 16 and Brooklyn, New York on October 22.
